About the Event :

The event, IPL auction is conducted to bid the cricket players to various franchisees. IPL Franchisees fiercely bid for the listed players. The auction ends with a settled squad for each IPL team.

• Any number of students from a college can participate in this event.

• Open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

• Participants who do not adhere to the rules and regulations will be disqualified at any phase of the event.

• Decision of the Judges and the Organizing Committee will be final.

      • The competition will have 2 rounds

      • Round 1 will be a Quiz which comprises of 25 multiple choice questions (Duration: 20 minutes)
Teams will be selected on the basis of marks and order of submission.

      • Round 2 - IPL Auction (Bidding – Maximum 180 minutes)

      • A team should have a minimum of 15 Players and a maximum of 18 Players.

      • A team can have a maximum of 7 Overseas Players.

      • The final team, must have minimum 3 - Uncapped players, 2- Wicket Keepers,4-Bowlers, 3 -
Batsmen, 2- All Rounders.

      • Once a player is unsold, that player cannot be admitted again.
